This is the installable version of Tuxedu which includes internet access.
You can choose to run it Live – from a USB stick or CD (we recommend using a USB) without making any changes to your computer. If you do run it live any changes you make within Tuxedu will not be saved.
Or you can install it onto your computer or laptop (you can do this from a USB or CD)- you can choose to have Tuxedu as the only Operating system (OS) or install it as a dual boot (alongside) your existing OS – for many people this will be microsoft windows. You can then choose which OS to boot (start-up) into when you start the computer.
Once installed you can use Tuxedu to browse the web, download email, write documents and create pictures – all the programs from Tuxedu Childsafe will be there and you can safely download more free open source software through the software centre.
